Essential Requirements: Freedom to travel extensively, sometimes at short notice. EU Passport with full UK settled status required. Experienced with Couture Wardrobe, packing and unpacking. Enthusiastic, kind and with a “can-do” attitude, able to remain calm under pressure and with high attention to detail. Previous private household experience essential. Basic computer skills a plus. 

This position is based in Kensington SW7 for approx. 6 months of the year but requires a candidate who has total flexibility and freedom to travel. Travel plans are mainly arranged in advance, but occasionally short trips will be at short notice. Our client travels Internationally it is therefore essential that some language skills can be met. The candidate should hold an EU Passport with full settled status for UK. 

You will work as part of a small domestic team, also working closely with the PA’s, but primarily work closely with madam, building a solid relationship to ensure smooth running of her life. 

Duties will include but not limited to:

·       Meticulous Wardrobe Management – experienced with handling, washing and caring for delicate fabrics, couture garments, sewing and minor repairs. Arranging specialist dry cleaning and confident with ironing, steaming and pressing.

·       Packing and unpacking of multiple suitcases and handbags, logging contents and learning the principals preferred methods.

·       Responsible for footwear, cleaning, polishing, storage and repairs.

·       Daily assistance with dressing routines, laying out clothes and general assistance with dressing.

·       Co-ordinate beauty arrangements as requested, run baths, prepare dressing area and purchase of beauty items, vitamins and medications if requested by the principal.

·       Maintenance and care of the principal’s personal suite, general housekeeping – changing bedlinen, towels, bathroom care, all to a high standard with attention to detail.

·       Ability to prepare and serve breakfast, light snacks and basic meals when requested. Assist when the principal entertains.

Accommodation is provided in a separate 2 bed apartment close by, however occasionally another staff member may stay overnight and space is also allocated to storage.

The vacancy is open to Live out candidates providing the travel and total flexibility regards working hours can be met.

Salary is negotiable depending on previous experience. Longevity in a similar role and strictly non-smoker essential. (HU4249)
