Two positions for an UHNW Royal Family based in Oxfordshire. We seek the services of two applicants to work together in this newly created role, who can anticipate the needs and deliver excellent front of house service skills and to act as an Aide to the client and family.

You will be required to assist in the running of the Butlers’ Pantry (Scullery) operations in conjunction with the Head Butler, to ensure the quick and effective delivery of food and beverages and to provide general service to the Client, Family and Guests.  A beautifully groomed, elegant and poised presentation is required for applicants who apply for this role and a genuine wish to look after and care for a delightful family, during their rare visits to the estate. Previous experience in a high-quality Restaurant, or within an Embassy or Buckingham Palace type setting.

Candidates should have strong communication and people skills with a passion for hospitality, gastronomy, delivering world-class service along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Additionally, a keen eye for detail and a genuine desire to create special moments for the client and guests.

Duties to include: 

·       Table service, working alongside the Head Butler and to include silver, butler, family and buffet style food services. (Training may be given.)

·       Assisting with formal beverage service.

·       Assisting with the care of the wine cellar.

·       Assisting with cleaning of all silver items.

·       Front of House skills in receiving and making welcome all guests and assisting them as may be requested.

·       Preparing of hot beverages for guests as required.

·       Operating dishwashers to caring for the Pantry - cutlery, glass and china. 

·       Being able to deputize for the Head Butler on occasion and run a shift. This may be either early or late shift and would mean being responsible for the delivery of service and for staff on that shift.

·       Maintaining a presence in the Pantry and answering the telephone to the Client and guests in a polite and gracious manner.

·       Implementing Pantry orders in a quick and efficient manner.

·       Being aware of any cultural protocols with respect to the Client, Family and guests. (Training can be given.)

·       Reporting any pantry maintenance issues to the Head Butler.

·       Attend any training or First-Aid courses as the Company requests.

·       Always Keep all Pantry settings across the Estate to the highest levels of cleanliness using the relevant anti-bacterial products.

·       Working with the Head Butler to arrange periodic professional deep cleaning of the Pantries.

·       Work in a close, harmonious and professional way with other departments within the House.

·       Adhering to the Company’s signing in and attendance policy

·       Maintaining appropriate stock levels of Pantry consumables when the Client is in residence.

As a Host, you will be an integral part of the Service team. The first and last person the guest sees, setting the standard for exceptional service and hospitality. Your responsibilities will include welcoming, meeting, greeting VVIP guests. This is a part residence for overseas Royalty who are in residence approximately 90 days per annum.  The role is a Monday to Friday role 40-hour week.  However, flexibility is required when the family are in residence.  Driver with own transportation is essential.  Salary circa £50,000 per annum depending on experience, pension etc.  HIGHLY recommended positions.  (HU3839)
