An UHNW international family is seeking an exceptional and formal Butler to oversee the seamless operation of their private residence in Grand Cayman and provide traditional butler services to the Principals and their guests.
This is a hands-on, feet-on-the-ground leadership role, ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic household and is committed to upholding the highest standards of service.
The Butler will be expected to manage the private staff and closely oversee the housekeeping team, conducting daily inspections and leading across all areas of service.
This role requires a highly organised individual who can work efficiently and proactively to ensure the household team operates smoothly and efficiently at all times. The successful candidate will work closely with the Family Office team to streamline operational efficiency and their reporting manager in the organisation of the Principals’ private affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and actively manage all aspects of the household, ensuring that schedules, household protocols, service procedures, and overall service standards are maintained.
· Implement new household management and reporting systems for daily checks.
· Diligently record and update changes to the household manual to keep clear records of all household and service-related improvements, household policies and standards.
· Conduct ongoing training to staff in areas that need improvement.
· Ensure quality control of all tasks completed by household staff.
· Take a proactive, hands-on approach to maintaining the residence’s upkeep and presentation.
· Keep a record of individual employees’ performance and KPIs.
· Deliver Butler table and drinks service on a daily basis, for entertaining and formal events.
Candidate Requirements:
· Energetic with extensive experience managing UHNW private households.
· Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to household operations.
· Impeccable presentation, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
· Proficiency in managing and implementing household management systems
· Knowledge of management software and ability to implement and maintain records.
· Ability to future proof all business continuity plans for household staffing.
· Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel with the Principals if required.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and yet highly discreet.
This is a live-in position, 6-day work week, availability to travel, start date ASAP. Top negotiable salary depending on experience, health insurance and pension. Accommodation provided off site. Driver essential. (HU4273)
